New! "KIDS COUNT Census Data Online and KIDS COUNT Data Book Online, 2002" is now available!
KIDS COUNT, a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, is a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children in the U.S. By providing policymakers and citizens with benchmarks of child well-being, KIDS COUNT seeks to enrich local, state, and national discussions concerning ways to secure better futures for all children. The KIDS COUNT Census Data Online is new as of November, 2002. This site consists of population data about age, gender, households, families, and housing units from the Census Short Form (Census SF1) and social, economic, and housing data from the Census Long Form (Census SF3). The site now includes estimates for the 108th Congressional Districts; KIDS COUNT Census Data Online is currently the only site with this information. Learn more about the sources used. KIDS COUNT 2002 Data
Book Online is now available from an easy-to-use, powerful online
database that allows you to generate custom graphs, maps, ranked lists,
and state-by-state profiles. You can also download the entire KIDS COUNT
data set as delimited text files.
